With nearly two decades of experience, I am a licensed clinical psychologist and certified school psychologist dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate life’s challenges.
My clinical practice is built upon a strong academic foundation. I hold a B.A. in Psychology from Tulane University and earned my doctorate in Clinical and School Psychology from the Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology at Widener University. I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons specializing in helping women navigate the challenges of pregnancy and the postpartum period. Throughout my career, I have focused on helping patients manage symptoms of depression and anxiety throughout the lifespan. In addition to my private practice, I am the psychologist at The Marymount School of New York, an independent school in New York City. I also have conducted research at the University of Pennsylvania, presented and published my work, and edited several books on a variety of topics including building strength and resilience, managing the stress of motherhood, etc.
Throughout my career, I trained in various treatment modalities including psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and mindfulness. I continue to draw upon this knowledge in my private practice.
